Bowman County FFA members, parents and guest celebrated the accomplishments and achievements with an awards and recognition banquet. Guest speakers were State FFA Vice President and past Bowman Alumni Gwendolyn Kitzan. Congratulations to all our members.

BCHS had a phenomenal performance today at the Regional Speech Competition! The Speech Team gained 7 new qualified events, for a total of 10 events to compete at the State Class B Speech Tournament on April 23rd. Morgan Matheson - 2nd & State Qualifying in Impromptu Morgan Matheson - 1st & State Qualifying in Extemp Toby Njos - 6th in Radio Emma Welch - 5th in Radio Alyssa Buckman - 5th in EPR Austin Wanner - 3rd & State Qualifying in EPR Chloe Haar - 5th & State Qualifying in Poetry Paysha Rex - 2nd & State Qualifying in Poetry Alyssa Buckman - 3rd & State Qualifying in Serious Trinity Anderson - 8th in Dramatic Toby Njos - 5th in Dramatic Bostyn Blankenbaker - 3rd & State Qualifying in Dramatic Kaylee Kinsey - 4th in Entertain Bostyn Blankenbaker/Chloe Haar - 4th & State Qualifying in Serious Duo Bowman County also took 3rd place as a team.

The varsity track and field meet scheduled at Bowman County on Tuesday, April 5th has been cancelled.

Today this group of freshman got to job shadow at local businesses and observe professionals at work. Thank you to community for allowing them to join you for an afternoon and gain valuable insight into possible careers.

School Board election is on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Any person wishing to be a candidate must file forms with the business manager, 102 Eighth Avenue SW, Bowman ND before 4:00 pm on April 11, 2022. Application materials can be picked up from the Business Manager.

Results from the "Last Chance" Speech Tournament: Lexi Reisenauer - Novice in Dramatic Paysha Rex - 4th in Poetry Toby Njos - 3rd in Dramatic Bostyn Blankenbaker - 2nd in Dramatic Bostyn Blankenbaker/Chloe Haar - 6th in Serious Duo Emma Welch - 1st & State Qualifying in Radio Toby Njos - 2nd in Radio This is the team's last regular season speech tournament. We will go on to complete at regionals on April 7th.

Congratulations to the ND FFA State Livestock judging championship team!!! High Individual of the day winning the Baby Bison and scholarship award is Dillon Bowman. Placing Gold also is Kaylee Kinsey and Mace Stuber. Placing Silver award is Jett Ouradnik and Timber Hauso. Members will advance to Nationals in October. Congratulations to all participants!

Bowman County FFA Livestock evaluation judgers place 4th overall at the Killdeer Alumni contest with Jett Ouradnik placing 8th and Mace Stuber 14th, Dillon Bowman 28th, Timber Hauso 46th and Kaylee Kinsey 65th overall. Congratulations to all our members!
