We had an exciting first half of football. At halftime our Bulldogs trail by a score of 6 to 16 to the Heart River cougars. We apologize for the inconvenience as we are are having difficulties with our NFHS network. Good news though, The Game is televised live on Consolidated. Let's get the second half boys.

Junior high football kicked off this evening with a game against the Heart River cougars. Our Bulldogs played very well outscoring Heart River by a score of 38 to 0. Great job boys. JV followed with a modified game/scrimmage. Our bulldogs jumped out to an early lead and was in control most of the game. The cougars fought back late in the contest but our Dawgs countered with a great scoring drive at the end. Final score 28-16 in favor of the Bulldogs. Friday night Heart River travels back to bowman for a varsity regional matchup. Game time at 6pm. Reminder this is parents night as well. See you all soon.

PSA on Teen Dilemma Teen Dilemma, our biennial teen safety event for 8th and 9th graders, will be held at our campus this Wednesday, September 25, from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The event is planned by Megan Oase, Penny Nester, and Chris Peterson in conjunction with Bowman County Extension Office. The intent is to teach our students about safety, especially as it pertains to driving. Please be advised! There will be emergency responders participating in the afternoon skit at our campus - it is a safety event and not an actual emergency. We would love if you could help spread the word that this will just be a drill. The morning portion will consist of six learning stations, from farm safety with Trevor Steeke to long-term consequences with Southwest Healthcare staff. The afternoon portion starts with a talk by Jordyn Germann, who had to face the consequences of someone else driving under the influence. From there, students watch a skit performed by our upper-level volunteers from BCHS’s Students for Positive Change (SPC) and directed by Lyndsey Erickson; the skit begins with a scenario, goes through a car accident, and ends with a driver being sentenced for distracted driving. There will be a debrief at the end of the skit before students return to classes. Students and faculty - please do not park on the west end of the high school on Wednesday (street or parking lot). Lastly, this event is not open to the public; it is just for our own and Scranton High School's 8th and 9th grade students. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Our young B squad volleyball team competed very well in Richardton today. While we didn't make the tournament, we improved our skills and teamwork throughout the day.
