Mrs. K's Nutrition and Fitness class did a community service project wrapping presents today. Edna Paulson, director of the Bowman Slope Counties Giving Tree, talked to the group about the mission of the organization and explained how the nonprofit benefits our community.

Bowman County Ag students have been working on custom AutoCad design projects. Students draft designs in AutoCad LT and convert files to the Torchmate Plasma cam table and cut out design projects.
Seniors in English IV developed research documentaries for proposals to improve the school and community. One of the groups, Ashton Battest, Sam Andrews, and Ellie Powell, put together a project on the need for better rapport between teens and police forces. They interviewed Mr. Chuck Headley, chief of the Bowman Police Department, who was able to come today to watch the final project. He presented these three students with a Challenge Coin, a huge honor that makes them a part of the department’s record and history.
Kudos to the students for putting together a professional and insightful documentary. And thank you to Mr. Headley for being willing to be a part of it and bestowing on them such an honor.
